Wamiqa Gabbi Biography: Recently Netflix announced series “Mai” starring popular TV actress Sakshi Tanwar along with actress Wamiqa Gabbi. While the series will roll out on OTT from April 15, all eyes are on Wamiqa who is all set for her big return in the Hindi entertainment industry. The actress majorly works in Punjabi, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films and stepped into the world of acting as a supporting actress with 2007 film Jab We Met starring Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor.

Who is Wamiqa Gabbi?

Born on 29 September 1993 Wamiqa Gabbi hails from Chandigarh from a Punjabi Family. Her father Govardhan Gabbi is a poet and writer in Hindi and Punjabi language. He also uses Gabbi as a pseudonym.

Wamiqa Gabbi Bollywood Career

Gabbi is trained Kathak Dancer and is trailing her acting career in Hindi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films. She got her big break as an actor in a Punjabi Film ‘ Tu Mera 22 Mai Tera 22’ opposite Yo Yo Honey Singh and Amrinder Gill. She also got casted for another big Punjabi hit film Ishq Brandy and Ishq Haazir Hai where she shared the screen with actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh.

She got her big role in Telugu film Bhale Manchi Roju. Wamiqa was also nominated in the PTC Punjabi Film Awards in the category of best supporting actress.
