Weather Update: A potent cyclone named Fabian is moving upward from the South Indian Ocean, according to private weather forecasting company Skymet. The Fabian storm may take a week to reach the coast. This may hinder the monsoon stream’s ability to form.

However, the Mocha storm also had an impact on the eastern regions of India until it dissipated after striking the coast of Myanmar. West Bengal and Mizoram had a powerful thunderstorm on Monday night. 9 persons died as a result in Kolkata and a few South Bengal districts. In Mizoram, 236 dwellings sustained damage. In the state's southern region, eight camps for refugees from Myanmar were destroyed.
