In addition to the prediction of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) for rain accompanied by strong winds, the heatwave in Bihar continued to persist on Wednesday. The sun shone brightly throughout the day, although it is noteworthy that the daytime temperature remained relatively lower on Wednesday. Conversely, as per the Meteorological Department's forecast, today, on Thursday, there are possibilities of cloudy skies and intermittent light rain throughout the day.

There is no possibility of rain in 19 districts of South Bihar. Heat wave warnings have been issued in several parts as well. In other districts of South Bihar, the temperature will be around 40 degrees as per day. On the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain, thunder and lightning in 14 districts of the north east and north central of the state today. On Wednesday, there was rain in 13 districts of the northern part of the state and a drop in temperature was observed in North Bihar. In the southern parts, with the scorching heat, the temperature appeared normal on Wednesday as compared to Tuesday. Temperatures above 40 degrees were recorded in six districts on Wednesday. The highest temperature of 42.8 degree Celsius was recorded in Aurangabad.
