Weather Update Today: After the rain in the national capital Delhi last week, the weather has now cleared. In the morning hours, there is light mist in Delhi-NCR. The sky is clear and sunny during the day. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain alert in many parts of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the southern peninsular of the country today. There is a rain alert in many districts of Karnataka. Dark clouds have covered the sky of Bangalore.

A cyclonic circulation is very likely to form over the northeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal. Due to this, heavy rain activity will continue for several days in different parts of East India from October 2.

Rain alert in these parts of Northeast India

The Meteorological Department in its latest report said that there will be heavy rains in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 01, 03 and 04 October. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers over Assam and Meghalaya on 02nd, 03rd and 04th October. On October 01, 02 and 3, rain is expected over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Clouds in the sky of Bangalore

IMD has predicted heavy rain in 12 districts of Karnataka for the next two days. On Saturday morning, the sky over Bangalore turned cloudy. There is panic among the people once again about the incident of rain and waterlogging. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the Bagalkot, Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Raichur, and Vijayapura districts of North Karnataka.
