Weather Update Today: The temperature in the national capital has been rising continuously for the last few days. On Monday, the maximum temperature in Delhi reached more than six degrees Celsius above normal. Because of this, the mercury reached 29 degree Celsius.
Because of this, Monday was the third hottest day in the first fortnight of February in the last nine years. Whereas in the last 11 years, Monday was the hottest day in the first week of February. The temperature in Pitampura reached close to 30 degree Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear on Tuesday.Wind will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to be 10 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 27 degree Celsius. The weather will remain the same on Wednesday as well. After this, due to the activation of Western Disturbance, the sky may remain partly cloudy for two days. After this the weather will clear again.
According to the data of the Meteorological Department, in the first fortnight of February in the year 2021, February 11 was the hottest day in the last nine years. Then the maximum temperature was 30.4 degree Celsius. Earlier in the year 2015, on February 15, the maximum temperature was 29 degree Celsius.
