Severe cold waves for the next few days

IMD predicts that between January 5 and 7, the minimum temperature in this area might be 4 degrees Celsius and the maximum could be 18 degrees Celsius. Over northwest India during the next 4-5 days, it is quite likely that dense fog and cold temperatures will persist. IMD predicts that cold wave conditions will likely persist over northwest India for the next three days before waning.
