The weather has changed rapidly. The cold wave has started in many parts of the country including Delhi-NCR. The hilly areas of Leh-Ladakh, Srinagar, and Himachal Pradesh froze without snowfall. In Ladakh and Srinagar, snow has started freezing even in waterfalls, lakes, rivers, and drains. Dense fog is occurring in North India including UP, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Haryana, and Punjab.
According to the Meteorological Department, the condition of dense fog will continue for the next two days i.e. Friday and Saturday. The temperature will also drop to 6 degrees Celsius. Please tell that this time the cold has come in the capital for a while, but its effect is being seen. The main reason for the increasing cold in Delhi is snowfall in hilly areas. Due to the icy winds coming from the mountains, the temerature is continuously falling.
Talking about Himachal Pradesh, the temperature of seven cities here has reached minus. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature of seven cities of the state was recorded in minus. Kukumseri in Lahaul-Spiti recorded a minimum temperature of minus -7.9 degrees Celsius.
