Delhi's Air Quality Index was recorded in the 'poor' category on Saturday. Next week also, the minimum temperature of Delhi can remain up to 6 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature can remain up to 25 degrees Celsius.
According to IMD, a sheet of fog and haze will be seen in Delhi from Sunday, December 18 to December 23. Along with this, there are chances of severe cold in entire North India. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), northwesterly dry and cold winds will continue over northwest, central and eastern parts of the country, causing a drop in day and night temperatures.
The 24-hour Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 304 at 4 pm. An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor' and 401 and above 'very poor'. 500 is considered 'severe'.
