New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported that dense fog and cold wave conditions are very likely to prevail over states like Punjab, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan during the next 2 days and also in isolated pockets over these areas during January 25 to 27. Air quality Index in Delhi remained in the 'poor' category on Monday, temperature expected to dip further due to rains that happened during the weekend.

Also, the Regional Meteorological Center in Bhubaneswar, has issued a yellow alert for nine districts in Odisha. Heavy rainfall is predicted for Monday. According to the weather agency, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur districts are likely to receive rainfall.
According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, various parts of Himachal Pradesh are likely to receive fresh snowfall till January 25.
