Weather Update: After a slight delay, cold waves have finally started hitting North India, whereas South of India might see Rain in the upcoming days as per the IMD alert. UP, Bihar and South India to see rainfall
There is a high chance of rain in the states of South India as well as parts of North, Central, and Eastern India, particularly UP-Bihar, where the temperature is steadily dropping. A low pressure system has formed over the Bay of Bengal, according to the Meteorological Department, and it is likely to intensify into a disturbance before moving into Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and other regions.
Cold waves knocks Delhi
According to Skymet Weather, the minimum temperature in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Bihar, and Jharkhand has stabilized between 10 and 12 degrees.
States which can see rainfall
As per the instructions of IMD on friday Andaman and Nicobar can witness slight Rainfall, whereas Tamilnadu, Puducherry, Karaikal along with other neighboring places can witness a continuous rainfall for three days which is between 20-22 November. A rainfall alert has also been given to the state of Andhra Pradesh between 21 and 22 November.
