In most areas of Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of dense fog in the morning and evening for two to three days.
An orange alert has been issued regarding a cold wave in North India including Delhi-NCR while a rain warning has been given in 10 states. Rain can also be seen in Uttar Pradesh today. Yellow alert for the cold day has been issued in Haryana and Punjab including Gujarat, and Rajasthan. The weather is changing fast. Scattered rain may occur over Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. Apart from this, a yellow alert has been issued for dense fog in West Uttar Pradesh including Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab.
According to the Meteorological Department, the cold will increase in Delhi NCR on Saturday as well and there will be fog. Along with this, cold wind can blow in the morning. At the same time, today the minimum temperature in Delhi can be recorded at 5 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 20 degrees. According to the information given by IMD, the cold waves may prevail in Delhi on 25 and 26 December. The minimum temperature can be recorded at 4 degrees on these two days.
