According to the Indian Meteorological Department, light rain will commence in Delhi-NCR from the evening of January 21. After the rain, chilly days and nights will begin in the capital from Saturday.
The Meteorological Department has issued a 'Yellow' alert on 22. Wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph is also expected. There may be rain on 23 January. After this rainfall, the effect of Western Disturbance will slightly decrease.
After the rains, Delhi-NCR will experience sunny days and the winters will be a little less during the day. According to the Meteorological Department, many areas of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh may receive rain till January 23. The cold weather will continue. People of Delhi and adjoining areas are unlikely to get relief from the severe cold for 5 days.
