In the hilly parts, snow is falling, while the morning and evenings on the plains are becoming chilly. Even today, the meteorological department has warned of the risk of snow and rain in various states. Delhi is affected by smog.
The cold and pollution have hit Delhi particularly hard. The morning fog has also made things slightly more difficult for the public. In the early and evening, biting cold has also intensified. Winter will likely hit Delhi-NCR more from November 24. Air pollution is a concern for people as well. The capital's air quality was still considered poor, showing no signs of improvement.
Many areas of UP are predicted to experience more fog than usual. Additionally, an increase in the cold is anticipated. Furthermore, many districts of UP are also experiencing the effects of the mountain snowfall. As per IMD prediction winter will hit the state hard in upcoming few days.
With the temperature dropping, the cold is getting worse in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand. In November of the previous ten years, Mukteshwar had the lowest temperature. According to meteorologists, the cold in Uttarakhand might surpass the previous record. On the other side, snowfall in Himachal Pradesh has made it colder. The temperature has fallen below zero in several places. The road connecting Manali and Leh is also closed.
Bihar is experiencing the effects of the Himalayan region's snowfall. The plains have also grown colder due to the western breeze. The temperatures in the morning and the evening are decreasing quickly.
