Weather Update Today: Changes in the weather can be seen in North India from the beginning of December. In most of the states, the mercury has been predicted to fall. Cold is expected to increase in many states including Delhi, UP, Bihar, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Cold increased in National Capital

The cold has started increasing in the country's capital as well. The temperature may drop further in the next few days. At the same time, there was fog in some places in Delhi on Thursday morning. Whereas, according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the AQI in Delhi is in the 335 (very poor) category.

Rain alert in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, scattered to moderate rain is likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep during the next 4-5 days due to an easterly wave.
