Weather Update Today: The national capital has been pounded by cold waves after Sunday's low of six degrees Celsius. On Monday morning, the city awoke to a very thick fog with very limited vision. A dense layer of fog could be seen covering parts of Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon.
On Sunday, Delhi had its fourth straight day of the season's coldest night as the city's low temperature dropped to 6 degrees Celsius, two degrees below average. The normal maximum and lowest temperatures between December 17 and December 21 will be 22.5 and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively, while between December 22 and December 26 they will be 21.4 and 7.
The city's average maximum temperature will probably be about 26 degrees Celsius, and its average lowest temperature will probably be around 6 degrees Celsius. On Monday morning, Delhi will experience mostly clear skies with mist or thin fog.
