Weather Update Today: There was a respite from the heat in the capital due to the light rain of pre-monsoon in the past. But, the temperature has started rising due to the sunshine amidst partly cloudy weather. Due to this the relief from the heat has started decreasing. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a slight increase in temperature for three days. So the heat will increase. But due to active monsoon from Monday next week, light rain is expected in many areas of Delhi on that day. Then there will also be relief from the heat.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 37.2 degrees Celsius, which is one degree Celsius below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.3 degrees Celsius, four notches below normal. Najafgarh recorded the highest temperature at 39.2 degree Celsius. It is noteworthy that on June 19, the maximum temperature of Delhi had come down to 30.7 degree Celsius. It was a great relief from the heat.

Temperature in Delhi-NCR today

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of partly cloudy sky on Thursday with wind speed reaching 20 to 30 kmph during the day. However, the maximum temperature is forecast to be 38 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is 25 degree Celsius. The sky will clear from Friday. Due to this, the heat will increase due to strong sunlight and the temperature can reach 40 degree Celsius on Saturday. After this, the weather will change from June 26 and on June 27, many areas of Delhi may receive the first monsoon rains.
