The Meteorological Department has issued orders to Mau, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Siddharth Nagar, Ayodhya, Pratapgarh, Mirzapur, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Banda, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Barabanki, Lucknow, Unnao, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Hamirpur, Jhansi, Jalaun, Etawah, Alert is in place in Auraiya, Kannauj, Hardoi, Meerut, Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar, Saharanpur, Sonbhadra, Agra, Jalaun, Ghaziabad, districts.

According to the IMD, on September 15, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa may receive thunder and lightning.
