Weather Update: Heavy rain warning in many districts of UP, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Delhi, IMD alert

The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert in most of the states of the country. At the same time, light to moderate rains are occurring in many states including Delhi, UP, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain and thundershowers in some states.

Flood like situations in many areas

Due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand in the past, flood-like situations were seen in many areas, due to which many incidents of landslides were also seen. Many roads were closed due to falling rock debris in the hilly areas. At the same time, now once again the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rains in Uttarakhand.

According to the department, from July 21 to July 23, an orange alert has been issued in Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Nainital, Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand. The department says that there is a possibility of heavy rain in these districts. 

Heavy rains in Delhi

It rained heavily on Wednesday in the Delhi NCR region. It gave relief from the humidity and heat. The weather station at Safdarjung recorded more than two inches of rain throughout the day. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather pattern in Delhi will remain the same till July 26. It will be cloudy on Thursday as well and light to moderate rain is expected.

According to the Meteorological Department, the next three days in Delhi will be generally cloudy and there is a possibility of light rain. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms at some places. Today's minimum temperature in Lucknow will be 28 degree Celsius and maximum temperature will be 33 degree Celsius and there will be light rain.
