Weather Update: Heavy rain warning in many states including UP, Himachal Pradesh

The monsoon season is going to end soon. On the other hand, many states of North India are witnessing moderate to heavy rains for the last several days. According to the Meteorological Department, this process of rain in Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand can continue till September 20. The trough of Monsoon has moved towards Varanasi, Daltonganj, Digha and then east-south eastwards towards Bay of Bengal.

IMD issues alert

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in many parts of the country. Heavy rain has been predicted in UP and Uttarakhand today and tomorrow. Heavy rains may occur over Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra, Chambal division and western parts of Madhya Pradesh and some parts of Rajasthan. 

According to the IMD, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in Odisha, Konkan region of Maharashtra and Goa for the next two to three days. 

According to the Meteorological Department, at present the north-east winds are blowing in the west-south direction in India. Two cyclones are still active from India's east direction, with easterly winds forming a cloudy flow. Today, rain will be strong in Maharashtra including Central UP, West Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai.

Heavy rain alert in Uttar Pradesh 

On behalf of the Meteorological Department, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday and Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be very heavy rain in some areas during this period. During this, there is also a possibility of gusty winds in some areas. Particularly in the districts of East Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of more rain. 

Agriculture experts believe that the rains at this time are very beneficial for paddy and kharif crops. At this time flowers have started appearing in the paddy crop and now earrings will be made. For this reason, this rain is considered beneficial for paddy. This rain will also prove beneficial for pulses and oilseeds crops.
