Weather Update: Holi may see rain and hail, IMD warns

On Holi, the weather will be unpredictable due to seasonal ups and downs. Many locations, including the capital city of Delhi, will have modest heat, although East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Marathwada, and Central Maharashtra could experience heavy rain and hailstorms.

Possible rain in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, South Haryana and West Rajasthan may see rain and light to moderate thunder. Up till March 8, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Marathwada, and Central Maharashtra may experience similar weather. The following two days in central India won't see any noteworthy changes in the temperature, according to the IMD, but after that, it could dip by roughly 2 degrees Celsius.

The plains of northwest India are anticipated to experience severe surface winds with a speed of 20–30 kmph throughout the course of the next two days. In terms of the nation's capital, Delhi, the highest temperature on Saturday (March 4) was three degrees over average at 29.7 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature was 16.3.
