The plains of North India will have light rain and drizzle during the next two days, according to the meteorological department. In the hilly states, snowfall and rain are anticipated to intensify concurrently.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a chance of rain with thunderstorms and hailstorms between January 24 and 27 in some locations in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. In the northern regions of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, there is a chance of drizzle or light rain with thunder between 25 and 27. Over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, mild to moderate rain and snow are expected over the next 24 hours, with isolated heavy rain and snow also highly likely.
