Weather Update Today: The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast that there will be a partly cloudy sky in Delhi-NCR from morning to evening on Monday, but there is little chance of rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures will likely be 34 and 24 degrees Celsius on Monday.

Due to anti-cyclonic flow over northwest India at lower tropospheric levels, dry weather is very likely over West Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi during next 05 days.
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is going to depart from all over the country including Delhi-NCR. Monsoon will depart in Delhi-NCR by the end of this week. Along with this, there is no possibility of rain for the next five to six days. After this, there is a possibility of light rain again on 25 or 26 September.
On the other hand, due to the persistence of dry weather for two days, the heat was felt on Sunday and there was a slight increase in the temperature. It was sunny all day. The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded a notch below normal at 23.8 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was 56 to 96 percent.
According to the Air Quality Bulletin issued by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), except Delhi and Faridabad, the air index of other places in the NCR remained below 100 on Sunday. The air quality was recorded in the moderate to satisfactory category. Safar India says that this category of air pollution is likely to remain the same for the time being due to the end of the rainy season.
