Weather Update: Landslide in Himachal Pradesh, rain expected in 15 states including Bihar- Watch Video

Weather Update Today:  The outgoing monsoon is soaking many parts of the country fiercely. Today, on 27 September 2022, the Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert in 15 states including Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur in the alerted states. Heavy rain may also occur in some places.

While Delhi and adjoining areas will remain partly cloudy on Tuesday, there is no chance of rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 34 and 23 degree Celsius respectively. At the same time, winters have started in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh due to rain and snowfall. So far 7 people have died in Himachal Pradesh due to rain and landslides.

Weather for the next 3 days

According to the Meteorological Department, scattered heavy rain and thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during September 26-28 through Coastal Andhra Pradesh from 27th to 30th. Apart from this, IMD has informed us that light to heavy rain may occur in Assam and Meghalaya on 28th. On 29th and 30th September 2022, scattered and moderate rain and thundershowers may occur over many areas of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Himachal Pradesh Weather

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear in most places in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, while there may be rain in some places. On Monday, seven people, including four girls, were killed in Himachal's Sirmaur due to heavy rains and landslides that caused debris to fall on their houses. Apart from this, one person died due to flood in Nowhradhar. Earlier, a landslide occurred in Shillai sub-division on Sunday night.
