There is no respite from the cold conditions as of now in Delhi- NCR. According to the Meteorological Department, a minimum temperature of 3 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Safdarjung due to the cold wave in the capital on Thursday morning. On the other hand, Lodhi Road in Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 2.8 degrees Celsius today.
To avoid the cold, most of the people remained in their houses heating themselves with bonfires and heaters. This change in the weather is being seen due to the cold wind coming from the Himalayas. Passengers are facing trouble due to the dense fog covering entire North India including Delhi along with the cold. According to the information, the visibility level was 50 meters at around 5.30 am today.
