Weather Update Today: The cold conditions in North India is increasing. People are not getting any respite from severe cold conditions. According to IMD, relief from the cold wave is expected in the coming few days. The Meteorological Department has issued an update for the next few days.

Rain and Hail in these states 

The Meteorological Department said that there may be light to moderate rain with winds in northwest India next week. It is clear that the torture of winter will continue on the people for the time being. The department said that due to lack of strong western disturbances in November and December, Delhi has not received rains so far.

Snowfall forecast in the mountains

The Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall in the mountains. There may be snowfall in the higher areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Heavy snowfall is expected in Himachal Pradesh. There will be no change in the weather during the next 48 hours. This can cause mercury to fall further. The effect of snowfall on the mountains is being seen in the plains.

IMD said that severe cold conditions would continue in parts of Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan. In some areas of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, cold wave will disturb people till Thursday. Fog is also troubling in many states right now.
