Weather update:North India awaits Monsoon, heat wave continues in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai gets relief

Monsoon update: Scorching heat and constantly increasing temperature seem to be in no mood to leave anytime soon in most of the part of India. Whereas blessings have already started pouring in a few states of the country. Although there is no prospect of 'loo' waves, there also is no way to escape the blazing heat in Delhi-NCR. In Delhi, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) anticipates partly grey skies, lightning, and thundershowers. But humidity will run alongside.  At the same time, light rain is possible in certain regions, a drop of one to 2 degrees can be recorded in the temperature from Sunday. And strong wind is expected.

Monsoon update in Delhi

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, no significant relief from the heat is expected until June 15. From June 16, the humid east- winds can provide some relief from the heat. On Saturday, the maximum temperature in Delhi will be 43 degrees Celsius, with a low of 30 degrees Celsius expected. The sky will stay partly cloudy, with light showers and thunderstorms possible.

Monsoon arrives in Mumbai

Now where Delhi is facing severe heat on one side, it is raining heavily in Mumbai, at the same time. The southwest monsoon has knocked in Goa.  according to the Meteorological Department In the Parts of South Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and sections of the West Central and North West Bay of Bengal the conditions are improving for the Monsoon to proceed further into.
