Weather Update Today: The Meteorological Department has warned the people of severe cold wave in the capital region on Monday and yellow alert has been issued in Delhi till January 21. From Monday to Wednesday, the temperature will fall again by 2-3 degrees Celsius, with severe cold conditions.
On Monday, IMD said that there may be light fog on in the morning, but the sky will be clear during the day. Also, there will be severe cold wave in some places, due to which the maximum and minimum temperature is expected to be 16 and 3 degrees Celsius.
Delhi-NCR will get some relief from the cold on Wednesday, as the temperature is likely to be 4 degrees on this day, says IMD. The temperature in Delhi-NCR may drop below 2 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday.
The pollution level has come down in Delhi-NCR. The air quality has also improved slightly. After 13 days, the air quality in Delhi has moved from very poor to poor category. Before this, the air quality was in the very poor category for 13 days. According to SAFAR India, the pollution level has come down due to slight increase in the wind speed and will remain in the same category for now.
