Several states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan, are reporting a drop in temperature. The chilly wave is causing many problems. The Meteorological Department reports that there is a possibility of increased cold in North India, but that there is still a chance of rain in the states of South India.

Weather Update Delhi

The nation's capital has also begun to experience an upsurge in the cold. Over the next two days, the temperature could drop even further. On Thursday morning, fog was visible in a few locations in Delhi. Additionally, the air pollution could get even worse. The AQI in Delhi, is rated as being in the 335 (extremely poor) category.

Weather Update in Hilly areas

Up till December 3, Himachal Pradesh is expected to experience clear skies. In the next few days, it may rain. Weather-wise, the upcoming two days in Uttarakhand are predicted to be dry. There is a chance that the minimum temperature in hilly areas will drop by one to two degrees Celsius during this time. The maximum temperature in Dehradun, at 25.3 degrees Celsius, was two degrees above average, as was the lowest, at 10.8 degrees Celsius.

A scattered to moderate amount of rain is anticipated over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Lakshadweep during the following four to five days, according to the Meteorological Department.
