Weather Update Today: In Delhi-NCR, people felt some respite from cold conditions as the temperature rose on Thursday. At the same time, people are facing problems due to fog.
According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi's Safdarjung recorded a minimum temperature of 9.3 degrees Celsius, and Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning amid the ongoing cold wave in parts of northern India. Visibility was recorded at 500 meters in Palam and Safdarjung area.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of the formation of cyclonic circulation due to Western Disturbance, due to which good rains are expected in the Western Himalayan region. There is a possibility of rain in Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas. There may be snow with rain in Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. There is no hope of respite from fog and cold wave in Bihar at present.

Traffic has been severely affected due to the dense fog. Many trains are running late from their scheduled time, on the other hand traffic on the road has also been affected.
