Weather Update: After witnessing non-stop rain and flood like situation in several parts of the country, here is some good news coming from IMD who claims that it’s a goodbye for the rainy season as a cold wave is soon approaching. The North Indian rainy season has ended, according to the forecast. In the meantime, several areas of North India and Western India will experience comparable, or normal, weather until Tuesday, October 18th, according to the most recent alert from the Meteorological Department (IMD). No warning or notice has also been issued for today in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, or Delhi (Delhi Weather), in a similar manner.
It may rain today in various states, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. Since there have been severe downpours in various regions of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, the IMD has issued an orange alert. In addition, seven states have received a yellow alert.
The Meteorological Department estimates heavy to very severe rain on Sunday in a number of locations in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, and Maharashtra. However, there is a chance of cloudy weather in a number of districts in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana, and Maharashtra. It might rain moderately in some of the places.
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon might return to Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, and Tripura.
