Weather Update: Rain warnings issued for these states, including Delhi and UP

On Thursday, there was a dramatic change in the weather throughout various states, including Delhi-NCR, providing relief from the heat. Black clouds quickly engulfed the sky, and rain and a strong wind soon began to fall. Some locations also had hail, which caused a dip in temperature. This scenario was not anticipated in the Meteorological Department's forecast. Nonetheless, there was mention of certain areas experiencing light rain. The Meteorological Department has warned of the risk of rain, hail, and severe winds even today.

Today these states could experience hail

Today, there is a remote chance of hailstorms, according to the Meteorological Department, in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and East Rajasthan. Across Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, scattered to heavy rains may also fall.

East India is expected to have rain, thunder, lightning, and strong gusts from March 31 to April 2. Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Odisha could get a solitary hailstorm today. Assam and Meghalaya in Northeast India have received forecasts for heavy rains from March 31 to April 2. On April 1 and 2, a lot of rain is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
