Weather Update: Record broken in Delhi NCR, January 7 was the third coldest day in 10 years

The Himalayan cold winds have shook Delhi and other parts of North, Northwest, and Central India. The lowest recorded temperature this season was 1.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday in various sections of Delhi. The visibility has also significantly decreased as a result of the thick fog. On Saturday, the coldest weather of the year peaked. The entire Delhi NCR is experiencing a cold wave and fog, which is a double whammy. Vehicles were spotted crawling on the roadways as a result of the deep fog. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that there will be heavy fog over the following two to three days.

Today’s temperature

The Meteorological Department predicts a maximum temperature of 18 degrees Celsius and a low temperature of three degrees Celsius for Sunday. On Monday, the temperature may rise by two to three degrees Celsius. On that day, the chill will continue. After that, there's a chance that Tuesday's cold may start to subside.
