Weather Update Today: Due to the rains in North India, people in many states have gotten relief from the scorching heat. The weather has become normal after the heavy storm and rain. In many states including Delhi, UP, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, MP, and Jharkhand, the temperature has come down by up to 10 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain pleasant in all these areas for the next few days. IMD said that there may be rain at many places on Wednesday. At present, the heatwave will continue over West and Central India.

Due to a Western Disturbance, a Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Jammu and Kashmir and its adjoining areas. According to the Meteorological Department, due to this, rain activities will continue in North India. Therefore, scattered rains may occur over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of strong winds. A dust storm is possible in Rajasthan.

Rain in these states for the next 3 days

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Bengal during the next 3 days. Along with this, the rain will also continue in some areas. Meanwhile, the good news is that now the rains have weakened a bit in the North-East. But in Bengal and Sikkim, there may be heavy rain at some places during the next 5 days.

Temp will Increase in Delhi, but relief from Heatwave

The scorching heat and loo are at bay in Delhi. It will be partly cloudy on Wednesday as well. According to the Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature is 36 and the minimum temperature is 20 degrees Celsius, while on Thursday the maximum temperature is 39 and the minimum temperature is likely to be 21 degrees Celsius. There is a forecast of light cloud cover and intermittent roaring cloud formation activity throughout the week.
