Weather Update Relief in the middle of summer but another round of heatwave will come

The weather pattern is expected to change and the probability of rain with strong wind may increase. The IMD has forecast rain with thunderstorms in many parts of the country amid scorching heat.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Lucknow today may remain up to 25 degree Celsius. While the maximum temperature may remain 38.0 degrees. The department has predicted a minimum temperature of 26 degree Celsius and maximum temperature of 41 degree Celsius in Ghaziabad.

Rainfall and Thunderstorm predicted

Today and tomorrow the comfort of the weather will increase. Thunderstorms and rain are expected for 48 hours. Thunderstorm and rain activities are likely to increase in most parts of West UP including Meerut today. On Monday, the spell of thunderstorm and rain was limited to Rajasthan and Haryana.

According to the Meteorological Department, the day temperature in Meerut on Monday was 36.8 and the night temperature was 23.5 degree Celsius. The day temperature was three degrees Celsius above normal while the night's normal was recorded. There was an increase of 0.1 degree Celsius in the day temperature with respect to Sunday while it decreased by 0.1 degree Celsius in the night.

PM's meeting on heatwave management 

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday chaired an important meeting to review heatwave management and monsoon preparedness. In this, he stressed on the need to take all measures to avoid deaths due to heatwave or fire incidents. The PM said that in view of the rising temperature, regular fire safety audits should be done in hospitals.

The Meteorological Department said that this time there was 71 percent less rain. At the same time, the month of March this year was also the hottest in the record of 122 years with the department. The maximum temperature in this month was more than 40 degree Celsius.
