Weather Update Today: Cold has started increasing in many states of North India. At the same time, the process of rain continues in the southern states. There is a possibility of unseasonal rains in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh as well. According to the Meteorological Department, under the influence of Cyclonic Circulation , a low-pressure area has formed over the east-central Arabian Sea adjacent to the southeast and north Kerala and Karnataka coasts.

This cyclonic circulation is likely to move in west-northwest direction off the Indian coast. Fishermen have been advised not to venture near the coast during this period. It has been advised not to go to Lakshadweep region till 15th morning. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into southeast Arabian Sea till 15th evening and in east central Arabian Sea from 14th morning to 17th morning. Also, day and night temperatures may drop over Northwest and Central India.

Cold will increase in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, the cold will increase in the next few days. Due to the Western Disturbance, the effect of snowfall on the mountains is being seen all over North India. In the next two to three days, the minimum temperature may decrease by three to four degrees in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and West Madhya Pradesh.
