Weather Update: Delhi's residents bid farewell to the pleasant weather as harsh conditions set in. On Monday, the temperature soared past 43 degrees after a noticeable shift in the climate. Although the Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted thunderstorms for the day, it remained sunny throughout, and the scorching sun became unbearable as the day progressed.

Despite the expectation of a dust storm in some areas on Tuesday morning, the sun continued to maintain its intense demeanor. This sudden heat surge has brought about increased challenges for the people, with no relief in sight according to the weather forecast. Scientists predict that temperatures will rise further this week, potentially reaching up to 45 degrees.

Delhi weather update

According to the Meteorological Department, Tuesday is expected to be a cloudy day in Delhi. There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by strong winds in certain areas. The maximum temperature in Delhi reached 41.3 degrees Celsius, surpassing the normal range by two notches. The minimum temperature settled at 25.2 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels varied between 50 to 27 percent in the atmosphere. Unfortunately, there is not much respite from the heat in the coming three to four days, as maximum temperatures are expected to remain in the upper 40s.
