In Delhi, the weather is evolving. The rising temperature in Delhi has shattered the previous 12-year record in the first week of February. For the first time since 2011, the national capital achieved a maximum temperature of at least 29 degrees Celsius during the first week of February, according to the Meteorological Department.

IMD says winter may not return

Given how cold it was until the end of January, it did not appear that the temperature would climb as quickly at the start of February. It appears that winter has departed this time around a little earlier, based on how February has started. The Meteorological Department claims that winter won't come anytime soon. The temperature will now gradually increase.

Highest temperature in February

The Meteorological Department's statistics indicates that February 11, 2021, was the hottest day in the first two weeks of February in the previous nine years. The highest temperature at that time was 30.4 degrees Celsius. 2015 began with a maximum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius on February 15.
