An alert for thunderstorms and rain was issued for the whole state of Uttar Pradesh on Friday. The Western Disturbance, according to the UP Meteorological Department, is heading towards the northern plains. The rainy season, which will end in May, has begun again in Uttar Pradesh as a result of the same area of cyclonic winds that formed over Punjab and neighbouring Pakistan.
The plains may get thunderstorms and mild rain on Thursday, according to the meteorological department. Strong winds with speeds between 50 and 70 kmph are possible around this time in Delhi, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttarakhand. In addition, the next two to three days are predicted to bring significant rain to hilly areas. In the following three days, there may be rain mixed with thunder in hilly places.
