Weather Update: Visibility became zero in Bathinda, temperature dropped to 4 degrees in Delhi-NCR

The cold wind blowing from the west and north-west has increased the cold in Delhi. People in the plains of North India are shivering with cold due to the cold winds coming from the mountains. Like Sunday, Delhi-NCR remained in the grip of cold wave and dense fog on Monday. The effect of the harsh winter was that Delhi recorded the coldest day of the season on Monday. There was a drop in both the maximum and minimum temperatures.

IMD gives statement

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any significant change in temperature. Till the new year, the temperature will continue to fluctuate like this. Cold wave and cold will continue to disturb for two days. At the same time, the temperature remained below zero in most areas of Kashmir. Water supply lines and interior parts of Dal Lake have also frozen in many areas.

Snowfall may occur in hilly areas

In the new year, the maximum temperature can once again come up to around 15 degrees, while the night temperature is also likely to fall below 5 degrees. Due to Western Disturbance, snowfall can also occur in hilly areas. That is, the tourists who are thinking of leaving Delhi and going to the hill station for the holidays, may get to see snowfall at the end of the year and the beginning of the new year.
