The rainfall in many parts of the National Capital Delhi has healed people from the scorching summer heat, but at the same time has created great difficulty for people of Delhi, as the rains have caused heavy waterlogging in many regions of the city.
The pictures of waterlogging at Central Delhi’s Connaught Place, and many other regions have surfaced over the internet. Places such as Mathura Road, South Delhi’s Alaknanda area. While the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that the national capital Delhi is expected to receive medium to heavy rainfall for the next 3 to 4 days.

However, an alert has been issued by the IMD for heavy rainfall in Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh, as regions such as Nainital, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Pauri, and Dehradun have been issued a red alert for the rains.
Himachal Pradesh is expected to receive heavy rainfall until 30th July 2021. While states and regions such as Odisha, Ganga coastal region of Bengal, Jharkhand, and northern region of the country are expected to receive a medium to heavy rainfall soon.
