Weather Update: Earth will be boiling from heat for the next five years, WMO issues threat alarm

Weather Update: Over the next five years, the world’s temperature is anticipated to rise. According to predictions, the peak in heat will occur between 2023 and 2027. Additionally, it is predicted that one of these five years will surpass the 2016 temperature record of heat. The likelihood of a record heat wave over the next five years is 98 percent, according to the WMO (World Meteorological Organisation). The United Nations has issued a warning about rising temperatures brought on by greenhouse gases and El Nino, which is predicted to get worse as climate change picks up speed. 

According to Professor Peteri Talas, the Meteorological Organization’s Secretary General, it will have significant consequences on water management, the environment, food security, and health over the next five years. The global temperature target outlined in the Paris Climate Agreement will be exceeded, according to the World Metrological Organisation.
