Weather Updates: After the culmination of rainfall in Delhi and adjoining states, IMD has predicted a drop in Delhi's temperature this week. Also, IMD stated Jammu and Kashmir will receive fresh snowfall.
Rainfall has finally stopped in Delhi/NCR and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a dip in the minimum temperature later this week. On Sunday, heavy rains lashed the national capital and the maximum temperature reached 15 degrees Celsius.
By January 14, the IMD reported the minimum temperature is likely to drop to 6 degrees Celsius. On Monday, the air quality in Delhi/NCR remained in the 'satisfactory' category and the Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 53. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district received fresh snowfall Monday morning.
