A car fell into the Gomti river on Tuesday night in Lucknow, the capital of UP. Two people in the car were saved while two people died. This accident happened near Baikunth Dham on the other side of Gomti River Front. The car was going towards Vikas Nagar. A dog was also in the car. He also died in this accident. In this way, there have been a total of three deaths in this accident.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The police called the NDRF team and started the rescue operation. At the same time, UP CM Yogi Adityanath took information about the incident and sent DM, DCP, Municipal Commissioner, CP on the spot and instructed other officers to get relief and rescue work done on a war footing.
Joint CP Piyush Mordia told that four people were going with the dog in a car. Then due to the flow of water, the car slipped and drowned in the river. Two people who drowned in the river in the accident are being searched. According to the JCP, Abhishek Dubey, a resident of Vikas Nagar and Dushyant Shukla, a resident of Sitapur, were pulled out safely with the help of a rope by Sameer, who was present at the scene along with his companions.
