The TVS Apache RTR 160 has been a stalwart on the track for more than ten years, pushing the limits of performance. The legendary race car is about to become the preferred option for brand-new racers. It is the first vehicle in its class to include riding modes, further modernizing the already powerful performance vehicle. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
This edition of the Apache series has been modified by TVS Motor Corporation with a new headlight design that includes an LED arrangement, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster (only available in the top-spec variation), and three ride modes. The motorbike still has a very recognizable silhouette, even though the front fascia has been updated with a contemporary headlight system. Compared to the instrument cluster on the Apache RTR 160 4V, the completely digital instrument cluster in the upgraded cockpit replaces the semi-digital configuration. The top variant's Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster also provides turn-by-turn navigation and access to call/SMS alerts.
The same 159.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, two-valve engine powers the Apache RTR 160 today. The chosen ride mode affects the maximum power and peak torque output. The power and torque outputs are restricted in the Urban and Rain modes to 13.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 12.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm, respectively. Whereas the maximum 15.8bhp at 8,750 rpm and 13.85Nm at 7,000 rpm is accessible in Sport mode. The ABS intrusion levels are also changed by these modes.
The ex-showroom price of the model starts from ₹ 1,18,570.
