Around 11 o'clock on May 3, a fight broke out between wrestlers protesting at Delhi's Jantar Mantar and the Delhi Police. The players who were protesting claim that the police hit them and yelled at them. The wrestlers claim that after ordering beds since it was raining, the cops forbade them from bringing them. Geeta Phogat, a wrestler, on the other hand, claims that her brother was hurt during a fight with the cops.
Numerous fans of the wrestlers may visit them on Thursday (May 4) after the match on Wednesday (May 3), according to the information. Security has therefore been stepped up at Jantar Mantar. At both access gates, the police have stationed a sizable number of officers. The Police Commissioner has received a letter from Vinesh Phogat and Somveer Rathi. In which he revealed that there had been a police attack involving more than 100 officers, during which the wrestlers had been hurt. The wrestlers also claimed that the police officers were intoxicated, to which the DCP responded by saying that a medical examination of everyone involved would be conducted.
