Yogshala in Delhi: CM Kejriwal claims Yoga Classes will not be closed

Publish Date: 01 Nov, 2022 |

The Chief Minister of Delhi has recently given a statement regarding the free yoga class. Earlier, sources in the Lt Governor's Secretariat had said that VK Saxena's office has not received any file seeking permission to continue the yoga program after October 31 and, therefore, it is wrong to say that Saxena has denied the extension of the scheme. Has not given approval, due to which it was being closed, but now Chief Minister Kejriwal has made it clear that classes will not be closed, as well as he has given information about the file.

CM Kejriwal’s statement

CM Arvind Kejriwal said in a press conference that he will not allow Delhi's yoga shala to be closed, even if he has to go door to door begging. He said that all the money needed for the yogashala will be given to them, but teaching yoga for free will not stop. CM Kejriwal said that all the allegations were made in the bus scam, scam in education and liquor policy. 800 officers have been engaged but till now it has been 2 months and nothing can be taken out against Sisodia. They have not done anything in Gujarat. Just the matter is being diverted.

Manish Sisodia also gives statement

Manish Sisodia on Wednesday alleged that under pressure from the BJP, a conspiracy has been hatched to stop the scheme by intimidating the officials. In order not to stop the yoga class, a file was sent by the Delhi government to the LG to continue this program. According to Sisodia, it has not been approved yet. On the other hand, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said about Delhi's Yogashala program that he will not allow it to be closed at any cost.
