A stricter complete lockdown imposed in Rajasthan from 10th May to 24th May, know the details for lockdown

Lockdown in Rajasthan:

Due to the rapidly increasing Covid-19 cases in Rajasthan, the Rajasthan government has decided to impose a stricter complete lockdown in the state enforcing from 10th May 2021 until 24th May 2021.  

Considering the decision, the government has decided to prohibit the conduct of any wedding processions until 31st May 2021 and all the advance booking amount already paid to the Banquets, marriage gardens, and band, etc. will be duly returned or adjusted later.

Moreover, only conducting weddings in courts or at home is allowed within the presence of a maximum of 11 people, provided, the family organizing the wedding must submit details for the same at covidinfo.rajasthan.gov.in. The work being performed by MNREGA will also be paused for the time being.  

The list of restrictions imposed for the lockdown is stated below:

  • All the religious places will remain shut.

  • No private and public transport will be permitted on the roads, other than the emergency vehicles.

  • Inter-state and intra-state to and fro of goods and commodities will be allowed.

  • Travel within the state between districts, cities, and villages will remain prohibited. 

  • People coming from outside Rajasthan will have to produce their negative RT-PCR test reports, and in case of no report, the person must have to go through a 15 days quarantine. 

  • To prevent the migration of workers and laborers, such workers will be allowed to work in factories with special buses being deployed for them.

  • Shops that were allowed to open as per the previous guidelines, shall continue to follow the same.

  • The medical department is yet to issue its separate guidelines for the attendants of the hospitalized Covid-19 patients.
