AMU Entrance Exam 2021 cancelled due to surging Covid-19 cases, university to announce new schedule

AMU Entrance Exam 2021:

The surging Covid-19 cases in the country has lead to the cancellation of the admission exam by the Aligarh Muslim University. Earlier, the entrance exam was scheduled to be conducted from 20th June until 11th July,  but, due to the sudden rise in the cases, the university has withdrawn its decision to conduct the entrance exam on the given dates. 

 

As per the officials of the university, a fresh schedule for the admission tests for 2021-22 will be notified, meanwhile. Moreover, the university has recently notified that the classes in various faculties of the university will continue through online mode for the session 2020-21, till the end of the semester, for both the existing and newly admitted students. 

 

While the university will also conduct the end semester exams for the 2020-21 session through online mode. And will reshare the new exam dates, once the situation is under control. 

 

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) conducts the annual entrance tests to admit students into various engineering, graduate and postgraduate courses. These examinations are usually conducted at various centres of the AMU across the country through pen and paper mode. And the admit cards and other details are made available to the candidates through official site in due course of time.
