Assam School Reopen: In view of the rising cases of coronavirus, it has been decided schools will remain closed at present by various state governments. The schools have been announced to be closed for the time being by some state governments and in some states where the schools were allowed to open, orders have been issued by the state government to close them again. The states that have announced to keep the schools closed till 31 December at present include Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Assam etc. The state government has issued instructions to open all government and private schools till December 31, 2020, i.e. from 1 January 2021 next year. In view of the situation of the coronavirus in the state, according to the order issued by the state government yesterday, 30 November 2020, the students have been allowed to organize physical classes from 1 January 2021 for classes 6 to 12 in schools. However, the final decision in this regard will be taken only after the state government assesses the epidemic situation. At the same time, exemption has been given to open last year students of colleges and universities of the state and for residential 10th and 12th students in schools from December 15.
