Bihar Board Class 10th Exam 2021: BSEB cancelled the Matric Social Studies exam after paper leak

Bihar Board Class 10th Exam 2021: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has decided to cancel the Bihar Board Matric Social Science exam held in the first sitting which conducted on 19th February 2021 (Friday) due to a paper leak in the Jamui district of Bihar. 

Around 8.46 lakh students appeared for the first sitting of the exam. And now, as per the reports, the re-examination for the Bihar Board Social Science Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 8th March 2021. 

The BSEB on Friday evening published a statement announcing that as per the primary investigation it was obtained that the question paper was leaked through the medium of WhatsApp by a contractual staff of the Jhajha branch of the State Bank of India (SBI).

The statement issued by BSEB stated that “Three persons, including Vikas Kumar and two other SBI staff of Jhajha branch, were arrested. During the investigation, it was found that Kumar has sent the question paper through WhatsApp to one of his relatives, who appeared in the exam.”

The Bihar Board further directed the Jamui District Magistrate (DM) and SP to look into the matter. And after the joint investigation and report submitted to the board, the BSEB directed to lodge an FIR against the identified wrongdoers. As per the reports, Jamui Police has already arrested all the three culprits on Friday evening.
